Description

The newest model in Raven's lineup of reasonably priced full-metal GBB pistols, the R9 is an excellent choice if you're looking for something really strong and precise.

This handgun is modelled after the well-known M92 produced in Italy; its timeless style is easily recognisable. Several actual and fictitious heroes, like John McClain, Solid Snake, and the US Army, have utilised it.

With the addition of a frame rail and a shortened beaver tail at the back of the grip, the R9 is a beautiful copy that strikes the ideal balance between the original design and the modern aesthetic. 

A suppressor or tracer device can be added using the 12mm female threads at the end of the outer barrel and the Raven thread adapter.
This is a useful feature, particularly as the number of tracer units being used rises. Furthermore, this saves the money needed to purchase and install a threaded outer barrel.

The alloy outer barrel of the R9 is visible all the way through to the chamber area. This helps keep the weight of the slide down so that it uses gas more efficiently and gives it the same appearance as the original R9 handgun.

After a little practice, the high-visibility white-dot iron sights on the R9 are simple to align and quick to use. On top of the slide are the sights. The gun has greater stability because they are fixed standard combat sights. Angled serrations on both sides of the R9's slide facilitate a better grip, especially in inclement weather or when wearing gloves.

Situated directly above, the slide release features a longer, textured area to ensure that the shooter's thumb can easily grasp it.
The disassembly catch, which comes before the slide release, is useful for removing the pistol's slide so you can lube it or modify the R9's HOP-up unit. You have to pull the magazine out and cock the gun before you can release the slide. Then, rotate the disassembly catch on the left side down by applying pressure to the textured button located just beneath it on the right side. After that, the slide will remove.
The gear HOP adjuster is located on the outer barrel's bottom.The R9 is easy to hold thanks to its diamond checkering on the grip panels and the texture on the front and back straps. A lanyard loop that fits any type of pistol lanyard and prevents the handgun from striking the ground in the event that it falls out of your holster is located at the bottom of the grip. Because of its larger trigger guard, the R9 is comfortable to operate when wearing gloves. Your supporting hand can use the guard's flat front face as an additional point of control. At the rear of the slide is the pistol's ambidextrous decocking/safety lever, which can be operated when the action is cocked. The safety will be in a horizontal position with a red enamel dot to indicate that the gun is hot when it is ready to fire. The hammer will uncock and the safety will be disengaged if you turn the safety catch down while the action is cocked. The R9's double-action/single-action trigger allows it to be carried in this manner and fire instantly upon the release of the safety. The initial shot in a rapid follow-up series will have a long trigger pull, while subsequent shots will have significantly shorter trigger pulls.The low-profile hammer of the handgun is visible at the back of the frame. The R9 hammer is not designed to be operated with the thumb due to its double-action trigger pull. But, if you'd want, you can still manually cock the hammer to activate the single-action trigger.

Performance-wise, the R9 features an adjustable HOP and an inner barrel with a tight bore of 6.03mm. Because of its solid metal slide and precise operation, it has a great deal of accuracy and range for a sidearm, and firing it is an amazing and captivating experience. Thus, the R9 should satisfy your need for a little uncommon sidearm that resembles a US Army service handgun that has been featured in numerous motion pictures and video games.
