DESCRIPTION:
The Blackviper G23 based on the Glock 23 is another great bb gun from the kings of value for money bb guns. This little beauty is the first replica Glock model that we have ever seen in a transparent finish, and we think it looks really cool.
BBGuns4less are the first in the UK with this model and its exclusive to our company, and in the short time we have been selling it, sales in our bb gun shop and on the website have been crazy.
The Blackviper G23 is a heavyweight model meaning is been internally, and this makes the bb gun feel really solid/strong and adds to the realism of the pistol.
The gun is mostly made of a strong abs plastic, with some internal metal parts. the pistol closely resembles the Real Glock 23 and has the same parts like the mag release and safety in the same places, the black top slide also has fixed iron signs on it like the real thing.
The pistol grip has an anti-slip textured Patton moulded into it, also on the pistol grip is stamped made in Taiwan, generally Taiwanese airsoft guns are made with a better finish than the bb guns made it china they can also tend to be a bit more reliable, this normally comes at a price but with this model its price is around the same as the similar pistols from China like the galaxy airsoft range.
The weapons mag is removable and holds around 15 bb pellets in it, there is also a small rail on the underside of the barrel that could be used to fit a laser sight, or similar rail mounted accessory.
This is a spring gun, which means it's powered by a spring and must be cocked for each shot. It's fast, clean, inexpensive and easily maintained; it requires no gas or batteries to operate so its cheap to use. Also, spring guns are the toughest, most durable of all Airsoft guns, because they're made with few breakable pieces.
on testing, this bb gun fired without jams when using angry ball 0.20g bb pellets and was accurate hitting the target almost every time.

This model the Blackviper G23 is very similar to the Blackviper B17 the difference being this pistol is slightly smaller.

Blackviper G23 Heavy Spring BB Pistol in Clear
I just bought this and one other Blackviper spring pistol for back garden target practice. They're great value for the money and I'm tempted to buy the other variants as well.
Pros: good quality materials that feel nice in-hand. This Glock replica has a good weight (all in the magazine, but that's probably accurate), the slide locks-back on an empty magazine and it has an open breech which is a nice detail. It'll dent a Coke can at 10 paces and the built-in non-adjustable iron sights are pretty accurate. The transparent frame actually looks really cool in person.
Cons: the cocking spring is stiff which could make using it a challenge for younger shooters.
Overall: great value for money and lots of fun for a back garden range. -
