Most Airsofters will say that the only way to skirmish with a sidearm is if it is gas, but because it is so cold in the UK, electric pistols are becoming more and more popular.
Electric pistols don't need to be refilled with gas all the time, and they work just as well in the cold as they do in the heat. They are much more reliable than gas pistols because they fire at a steady FPS instead of starting out high and getting weaker as they go.
This is a replica of the classic 1911 pistol, which is one of the most popular pistols in airsoft and one of the "Big three" (Glock, 1911, and M9). It has the classic style wood effect grips that are textured for a better grip when shooting. Overall, this is quite a compact pistol considering it has a gearbox inside. Because of this, it is quite WIDE, and is not the real 1:1 scale dimensions of the real 1911 pistol. This is by no means a bad thing
As with all CYMA AEPs, the build quality of this weapon is really quite good, and the quality of the materials used to make it is also very high. It doesn't feel too light or flimsy, and it's a great skirmish weapon because it doesn't break easily when dropped and can handle small bumps and knocks just fine (but don't throw it down stairs or off buildings!).
In terms of operation, it IS possible to shoot this only on single shot; however we all know the
main appeal of a CYMA AEP is its ability to go FULL AUTO. Firing fully automatic this pistol can
empty its magazine in no time, and can easily spray a whole room of enemies with no problems!
while the ROF as standard is fairly average, it can be increased by performing the LIPO conversion.
WE DO NOT RECCOMEND YOU TRY THIS MODIFICATION IF YOU ARE INEXPERIENCED.
If you want the LIPO upgrade, the safest option is to take the weapon to your local tech and get them
to have a look at the options for you, or; if you have experience working with electrical systems - there
are plenty of tutorials online explaining how to carry out this modification. Naturally, doing a modification
such as this WILL void any warranty we offer and mean we cannot help you if the weapon breaks.
Disclaimer!:
The cyma AEP 500mah batteries should not be charged for longer than 2 hours since overcharging these batteries, which is very common with these batteries, is best done for 1 hour and 30 minutes, with 2 hours being the absolute limit.
