This 4” version keeps the aggressive, iconic lines of the original Colt Python .357 while maintaining a practical, mid-sized build. Like the rest of the KWC Python line-up, it’s a true 1:1 scale replica, built almost entirely from metal, including the barrel, frame, and rotating drum — with only the textured grip made from a rugged polymer for comfort and control.

Power is a serious talking point here. Running on a 12g CO₂ capsule housed inside the grip, this revolver delivers up to 498 FPS (2.3 joules) using 0.20g BBs — though for optimal flight path and safety, we recommend going up to 0.25g or even 0.30g BBs. Expect roughly 100–140 shots per CO₂ cartridge, depending on temperature and rate of fire. This isn’t just for CQB — it’s got the punch to work as a formidable sidearm in outdoor skirmishes or even as a main in revolver-only events.

Like all airsoft revolvers worth their salt, the KWC Python 4” uses individual metal shells, each holding a single BB. These are loaded into the swing-out drum, which rotates realistically with each trigger pull. A speedloader is included in the box, making reloads quick and efficient, even in the middle of a match. You’ll be running 6 shots per reload, so make them count — accuracy and trigger discipline are your friends here.

The sights are fixed iron V-notch rear and blade front — simple, clean, and effective. The 4” barrel length helps stretch the effective range a bit compared to the snubbier 2.5” version, without the bulk of the 6” option. That makes this model a great middle ground: compact enough to carry comfortably on your belt, long enough to deliver consistent accuracy.

Trigger action is double and single — you can either manually cock the hammer for a crisp, light pull, or just squeeze the trigger for rapid double-action shots.
