Bought as a training aid. Not bad, apart from the front sling swivel being on the wrong side, easy enough to refit with a bit of drilling. Main problem is the safety catch is back to front, fires when on safe, and won't fire when on fire. Unable to rectify it, so very limited use as a training aid now?

I bought this as a training aid to teach cadets. It's the right size as a real one, although a bit lighter. My two issues with it are the front sling swivel is on the wrong side, and the safety catch is the wrong way round. I am going to have to take it apart and try and correct these mistakes.

Not bad
This rifle is pretty good for the price. Weighted towards the butt, less so towards the muzzle. The safety catch and front sling loop are on the wrong side and in the photos both the fore and rear sight are mounted backwards. Internal components are not as robust as you would expect. But again, for the price, not bad.

Only downside is that cocking is VERY stiff. -
Easy 4* if the safety was the right way round
This was bought for my daughter to practice her cadet drills with. That it could also shoot was a nice extra.
For drills it is a little light (roughly 1/2 the weight), but otherwise a great training aid.
Shooting and it is nice for its price. Using the iron sights and free standing I'm getting a 2.5cm group at 5m and I'm an awful shot.
It is such a shame that the safety is reversed.

Very realistic.felt like i was back on salsbury plains.pity it cant be the army colours with ironsight. Only in a2 model but well worth the money

Good for price
Nice as standard but after stripping realized that because it uses a fairly large cylinder/piston and a strong spring that a barrel change was necessary.
I fitted a 6.1mmx50cm brass barrel, doesn't need trimming for stubbing, with packing tube to go into hop adaptor.FPS now 500+ (.20g) so worked well. Safety catch fairly easy to reverse if dremel used to re-trim.The only reason 4 star, not 5, is the magazine; a Cyma wind-up version would be better and I think I might do a conversion in the near future.Throw the 'sight' that comes with it! I'm now using a 3x susat type and can't believe how accurate it is out to approx 25m and further but bb wanders of as you'd expect.
