For somebody buying their first AEG, that simplicity removes quite a bit of the head-scratching that can come with more configurable airsoft platforms.

The fixed wood-effect stock helps complete the traditional AK appearance while giving the rifle a stable point of contact when shouldered. Combined with the lightweight polymer construction, it makes the 830mm CM022 surprisingly manageable despite its full-size proportions. That makes it particularly suited to controlled recreational shooting where carrying around several kilograms of metal rifle would add little to the experience.
