Cyma Noveske NOV.1201 N4 Gen.3 CYMA CGS Gas Blowback Airsoft Rifle with Adjustable CRANE Style Stock in Black

The CYMA/EMG Noveske N4 Gen.3 NOV.1201 gas blowback airsoft rifle combines officially licensed Noveske styling with CYMA's newer CGS operating system and the broad compatibility of the Tokyo Marui MWS platform. This is a compact 10.5-inch airsoft rifle with full aluminium alloy construction, a Noveske NSR-9 M-LOK handguard and an adjustable CRANE-style stock, giving it the sort of proportions that work equally well around buildings or across more open woodland. For players considering modern gas rifles, the N4 Gen.3 is particularly appealing because it mixes authentic licensed externals with a well-supported internal architecture rather than locking you into an obscure proprietary system.

Starting at the front, the rifle uses a 10.5-inch outer barrel with a 14mm CCW thread, giving you compatibility with suitable airsoft muzzle devices and tracer units. Around it sits the Noveske NSR-9 M-LOK handguard, a slim aluminium rail system with mounting positions at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions. That gives you enough room for a torch, hand stop, PEQ-style unit or vertical grip without covering the rifle in unnecessary rail sections. A full-length 20mm Picatinny top rail runs across the upper receiver and handguard, leaving plenty of space for a red dot, magnifier or backup sights.

The receiver is made from aluminium alloy and carries officially licensed Noveske trademarks, deep engraved markings and an individual serial number. Those details give the airsoft gun a much more convincing finish than a generic M4-pattern receiver, especially for players who appreciate properly licensed replicas. Weight is approximately 2700g with the magazine fitted, which is enough to make the rifle feel substantial without becoming tiresome over a full game day. Overall length ranges from roughly 700mm to 780mm depending on stock position, so the platform stays compact while still offering a proper shoulder-fired carbine feel.

At the rear, the adjustable CRANE-style stock lets you tailor the length of pull to suit your stance, plate carrier or chest rig. A rear QD sling point makes fitting a suitable sling straightforward, which is useful on longer skirmishes when you don't want to carry the rifle in your hands every second of the day. The pistol grip is shaped for a comfortable firing hand position, and the familiar AR-style controls mean the rifle will feel immediately natural to anyone already accustomed to M4-pattern platforms.

Internally, the big attraction is CYMA's CGS, or CYMA Gas System. The platform is designed around Tokyo Marui MWS compatibility, giving the rifle access to one of the best-supported gas blowback ecosystems in airsoft. That means compatible magazines, hop components, nozzles, inner barrels and other replacement or tuning parts are widely available. If you prefer to leave the rifle standard, that support still matters because long-term parts availability is often what separates a sensible gas rifle purchase from a future headache.

The gas blowback system gives each shot proper mechanical movement and recoil feedback, which is one of the main reasons players gravitate towards GBB rifles in the first place. Running on Green Gas, the N4 Gen.3 is quoted at approximately 320 to 350 FPS, while 134A-compatible operation can bring output down to around 282 FPS. As with any gas-powered airsoft rifle, actual performance will vary with ambient temperature, gas pressure and BB weight, so chronographing the rifle against your site's limits before play is always the right move.

Hop adjustment is handled by CYMA's QD adjustable hop-up chamber system. The quick-access design is intended to make tuning far less awkward than on rifles that require major front-end disassembly just to make a small hop change. Inside, the approximately 260mm inner barrel works with the adjustable hop to give the rifle a useful balance of consistency and compact handling. The 10.5-inch format is particularly well judged here: short enough to stay nimble, but not so short that the rifle starts to feel like a novelty PDW.

A 30-round Lancer Systems L5 AWM-style gas magazine is included, complete with realistic styling, and the rifle is also compatible with Tokyo Marui MWS-series magazines. That gives you plenty of flexibility when expanding a game-day loadout. Taken as a whole, the CYMA/EMG Noveske N4 Gen.3 NOV.1201 is a well-rounded airsoft gun for players who want licensed Noveske externals, realistic gas blowback operation and a compact carbine layout with proper aftermarket support. The NSR-9 rail, QD hop system, MWS compatibility and adjustable CRANE stock all add practical value without burying the rifle under gimmicks.
