The A2-style pistol grip adds another familiar AR-inspired touch and provides a secure firing-hand position when cycling the pump or transitioning between targets.

Golden Eagle has also included QD-compatible sling mounting points, useful on a 3.4kg-plus airsoft gun that may be carried through an entire game day. The supplied QD sling swivels make it easier to integrate the shotgun into an existing sling setup without immediately sourcing additional hardware. Between the adjustable stock, pistol grip, receiver-mounted shell carrier and top rail, the M8874 feels less like an old-fashioned sporting shotgun and much more like a dedicated tactical airsoft platform.

On the field, the selectable shot system is where this airsoft shotgun really develops its own personality. Three-shot mode makes sense when ammunition conservation and more frequent follow-up shots are the priority.
