Measuring just 510mm in overall length, it's built for players who spend their time clearing rooms, navigating tight woodland trails or moving quickly through urban environments. Despite its compact footprint, this airsoft gun retains the robust steel construction and dependable internals that have made LCT one of the most respected names in airsoft.

Externally, the Quickhatch is built around a full steel receiver, complemented by a steel outer barrel, steel flash hider and a rugged metal RIS handguard. The result is a platform that feels incredibly solid without becoming unnecessarily heavy, tipping the scales at approximately 2.5kg. The compact dimensions make it exceptionally quick to shoulder, while the RIS handguard provides plenty of space for mounting weapon lights, vertical grips, lasers or other mission-specific accessories. The 14mm CCW threaded muzzle also allows easy installation of suppressors or tracer units to complete your preferred setup.

Unlike traditional AK rifles, the Quickhatch is supplied without a stock, instead featuring a rear rail interface that allows players to customise the platform with compatible stock options if desired. This keeps the rifle exceptionally compact straight out of the box while offering flexibility for future upgrades. The durable ABS pistol grip provides a secure and comfortable hold, even during fast-paced games or when wearing gloves.

Internally, the Quickhatch is every bit as impressive as its external construction. It features LCT's proven Version 3 gearbox running on durable 9mm bearings, providing smooth operation and excellent long-term reliability. The fitted 22,000 RPM motor delivers crisp trigger response in semi-automatic and consistent cycling during full-auto fire. A quick-change spring system is also included, allowing spring changes with minimal effort should you need to adjust the rifle for different site power limits.

The rifle uses a 270mm brass inner barrel with a 6.05mm internal diameter, striking an excellent balance between accuracy and reliability. Working alongside the adjustable rotary POM hop-up unit, it delivers consistent BB flight and dependable groupings across typical CQB and medium-range engagement distances. Producing approximately 1 Joule of energy, or around 329 FPS depending on BB weight and site testing methods, the rifle is ideally suited to most UK skirmish sites straight from the box.

The electrical system has also been designed with future upgrades in mind. The Quickhatch features front wiring using quality 18AWG cable and is fully compatible with the Gate ASTER V3 electronic trigger unit, should you wish to install one later. Battery storage remains true to the AK design, fitting beneath the top cover and accepting suitable 7.4v or 11.1v LiPo batteries. Please note that neither the battery nor the ASTER unit is included with the rifle.

Supplied with a reliable 130-round mid-cap magazine, the Quickhatch feeds consistently while eliminating the rattle often associated with high-capacity magazines. Fire controls follow the traditional AK layout with Safe, Semi-Auto and Full-Auto firing modes, making it immediately familiar for experienced AK users while remaining straightforward for newcomers.
