LiPo batteries, which stand for "Lithium Polymer," are a new type of rechargeable battery that has taken the airsoft world by storm. RC LiPo batteries are better than other rechargeable battery types like NiCad or NiMH in three major ways.
LiPo batteries are small and light, and they can be made in almost any shape or size.
Large sizes mean that LiPo batteries can store a lot of power in a small space.
LiPo batteries can power even the most powerful electric motors because they can be discharged quickly.
RC LiPo batteries do have some problems, though, which shows that there is no perfect way to store energy.
