Unlike many rifles that simply lock out full-auto fire, this purpose-built Rifle has been designed from the ground up as a dedicated semi-auto platform. Producing approximately 300 FPS (0.85 Joules), it complies with lower-powered site limits while delivering the authentic recoil and mechanical feel that make Gas Blowback rifles so enjoyable to use.

The VMP-2D sits within Vorsk's Modular Platform family, but it fills a very different role from the compact VMP-1 or the select-fire VMP-2MCR.
