With an approximately 500mm inner barrel and a listed velocity around 328 FPS, the BAR has a sensible setup for woodland skirmishing and historical events, although it should always be chronographed before play according to site rules.

Power comes from a rear-wired battery arrangement located within the wooden stock. S&T recommends a 9.6V small butterfly-style battery, while nunchuck and similarly shaped packs may also suit depending on dimensions. A small Tamiya connector is fitted as standard.
